Dani and Robert Mozingo

Hey everyone. I am Dani's sister, Hope.

I've had several people ask how they can help Dani and Robert through this difficult time. I thought this would be the easiest way for that.

Here is their story:

Dani was pregnant with their first baby, Elijah Lake Mozingo, and was due June 2nd. Unfortunately, Dani was diagnosed with early pre-eclampsia and due to the stress on Eli's blood supply, an emergency section at just 26 weeks was ordered. He was born just one day after his mommy's birthday, March 2nd, weighing 1 lb. 11 oz.

Eli has been staying in the NICU at Forrest General. Being at a close distance from his parents has been one less stress for them. But this all changed this past Friday, March 31st. Unfortunately, some of his issues were more severe than they could continue to care for. Eli was air lifted to the NICU at UMMC.

This has been a difficult time for his parents since he is further away. Of course, mommy is going to travel to see her baby every day. Daddy is continuing to work and going to see his baby too. If you felt led to donate money for gas/meals please do. I know they would appreciate the love and help during this time. We love our sweet Eli and we can't wait to get him well and home.
