Danika Morrow and Brian Vogan here! We are a pair of Seattle-based songwriters, performers, and early childhood music educators, and we proudly present our brand new musical project: Dani & the Bee
Help us accelerate the release our first single Bring the Love, an anthem of love, acceptance, and the proliferation of positive energy! With the turbulent year we've all endured, this song aims to remind us all of the power of giving and receiving love, and how we can find it all around us, even in the hardest of times.
With your help, we intend to bring to this message alive by creating a music video for Bring the Love. We're already busily recording the track with our producer Barrett Jones (Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Brian Vogan and his Good Buddies, etc.), and the song features incredible guest performances by Helene Ferret-Kaufman (Seattle Symphony) on cello, Libby Molamphy (Brian Vogan and his Good Buddies, Darkheart) on harmony vocals, Jeremy Reinhold (Brian Vogan and his Good Buddies) on piano and glockenspiel, and our longtime collaborators Michael Trew and Julie Baldridge from the Good Buddies as well.
We are hoping to rally your support for the final stages of this project, and this can be given in any combination of these three ways:
1) by donating to our Go Fund Me campaign before our new deadline of Sunday, May 2nd at midnight. Our goal of $1000 includes recording, mixing, mastering and video editing costs, etc. We thank you kindly for your support of any amount!
2) by helping to spread the word to your own families, friends and community.
3) by sharing a quick video of your own family sharing their love with the whole wide world! Be it a simple wave, a giant rainbow heart, a BLM mural, the flashing of a peace sign, etc. just go ahead and send along a short (3-5 seconds) video to daniandthebee (at gmail) and we'll feature you in the final cut of the video. Let's bring some love into this world together!
