Daniel Agee Memorial
Donation protected
Many of you have asked what the family would prefer to be sent in memory of Danny, flowers or donations. First let me express, the family greatly appreciates all the kind thoughts, prayers, notes, flowers, and messages of condolence. We are touched by all of you and your desire to donate in honor of Danny, who has been a part of all of our hearts. Your donations will be used to fly him home so we can all have an opportunity to celebrate his life and the joy he brought to us all. To continue his desire to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases, donations will also be sent on his behalf to St. Jude, his charity of choice being a cancer survivor himself.
For those of you who are unaware, Danny (Daniel) Agee unexpectedly passed at a very young age of 29. Life was just starting for him in his newly established neighborhood located in Santa Ana, CA. Danny grew up in Virginia where our family still lives. We are devastated by the loss, as all of us are, and can’t wait to bring him home to his family and friends so we can say goodbye and celebrate the memories we shared with him.
Those that know him are comforted knowing he had such a strong faith that he shared with many, and knowing he is in the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Danny climbed and overcame his share of mountains, which drew him closer to his faith which was central to his core. This faith and the challenges he conquered open doors for him in his quest to help others and in his own personal desire to make a difference in life. Many of us were blessed to read his inspirational messages, to engage in his faithful conversations, and to be the receiver of unlimited encouragement and support…there was so much to love about Danny.
Let us close by saying once again, we are so thankful that Danny connected and touch so many of your lives, and appreciate your desire to provide a donation on his behalf. We truly believe Danny is looking down on us and sees the love we all are expressing as we mourn his loss, and the hearts that are saddened by such an unexpected event. Only he now knows why his life ended so abruptly, an understanding we are not so fortunate to have. God bless you Danny, you're loved more than words can express and you will forever be remembered.
Our prayers are with all of you as well.
