Daniel and Heidi Munroe unforeseen circumstances
Donation protected
Hi everyone I’m sharing this go fund me my family would truly appreciate any donations that you can afford……..,.,Late into the night on 02/16/2023 Heidi & Daniel were preparing for a seemingly simple labor and delivery for the exciting arrival of their daughter Emma.
What was supposed to be an exciting and wonderful moment took a horrible turn for the worst.
Around the hour of 11PM, Heidi was fully dilated and ready to deliver their daughter.
Suddenly Heidi was experiencing pain in her stomach when trying to get in a comfortable position to get Emma ready to enter the world.
The doctors immediately understood then and there that something was not right. The baby was no longer in Heidi’s uterus. The baby was not floating around Heidi’s intestines. As they heard the baby’s heart rate dropping they immediately had to spring into action by putting Heidi under anesthesia and prepare for an emergency cesarean.
Heidi & Daniels beautiful daughter was born at 11:57PM. She was immediately brought to the NICU for observation due to the traumatic delivery. After an over 8 hour stay in the NICU Emma was able to reunite with her parents. Emma is healthy and doing well.
Upon Heidi waking up she was informed by the doctors and her husband Daniel that her uterus had ruptured due to pressure being applied to scarring from her first cesarean she had with her son Jackson almost three years ago. The doctors informed her there was a 1% chance of this happening….
Heidi’s uterus did not just rupture. It blew out completely. The rupture also caused an abrasion to her bladder. Heidi is now catheterized to avoid any pressure being put on the bladder for the time being.
Heidi is unable to care for her both of her children on her own due to restrictions caused from the emergency surgeries for the unforeseeable future.
As a result of this, Daniel is unable to return to work. Due to the fact that Daniel works in the service industry he does not qualify for the 12 week bonding maternity leave. Heidi cannot lift anything let alone take care of two children alone.
At this time we are asking for donations for Heidi & Daniel and their family while they recover from the traumatic labor & delivery. The last thing any family should have to worry about is finances after going through these experiences. Let’s help Heidi & Dan ease the financial burden while they start their journey to recovery!
