Daniel and the Rice Family

Hi, My name is Dallas Junkin (niece of Casey and Daniel) and I wanted to provide a way for people to support the Rice Family at this time. I know many people know and love this family and have been asking for ways to help and support the family at this time.

On Thursday, October 19th, Daniel visited his primary physician with some concerns and was sent to DCH. Upon arrival at DCH, he was admitted and began treatment for liver failure. Daniel has continued to decline in the last week and has since been put on a ventilator, airlifted to Piedmont Atlanta hospital, started dialysis, and has been fighting through complications of pneumonia.

Casey is currently staying at accommodations she can find in the Atlanta area that are as close to the hospital as possible.

This battle was not anticipated and we are so thankful for all the people who have checked in, sent kind words, and offered to help in any way. We ask that you continue to keep Daniel, Casey, Mason, and Addison, and all of Daniel's family in your prayers as he continues to fight.

Funds from this GoFundMe will be used to cover Casey's accommodations in Atlanta and medical expenses from DCH, Piedmont, and medical transportation between the two hospitals.
