In Memory of Daniel Boff - Support for his Family

Daniel Boff passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday 12 July 2020, aged 38.
He leaves behind his loving wife Megan, and two young sons, 9-year-old James and 6-year-old Jacob, and his family, father Ron, mother Kim, sister Kylie (dec), brother-in-law Leigh, niece Mikayla and nephew Dylan.

Daniel was a larrikin, he was a top bloke, and he was larger-than-life.
He had a cheeky sense of humour, and would have a glint in his eye as he told you a dirty joke. But he was always a gentleman, and would offer drinks and find extra chairs for friends who had just arrived to a BBQ.
He would march right up to you, and tackle you into a big bear hug.
He had the gift of the gab, was an animated story-teller, and had a detailed anecdote for every occasion and every topic. The number of conversations we had about trailers and towing capacity are too many to count.
Daniel grew up in Melbourne's north-eastern suburbs, and attended Templestowe College.
Daniel always had a passion for bikes, was an avid gamer and poker player. But he loved nothing more than his high school sweetheart Megan. They have been together since 1996, when Daniel was 14 and Megan was 15. They married in October 2005, and would have celebrated their 15 year wedding anniversary this year.
While working as a prison officer, he was inspired to make a positive contribution to the community and create a difference. He gave his all to his work, which was often relentless, both physically and mentally.
More recently, the job that made Daniel the proudest, was also the most rewarding - he was home-school teacher to his beautiful sons James and Jacob. He cherished the role of being a father, and loved watching his boys grow up.
Daniel had a heart of gold, and we are all so saddened at the sudden loss of this good man.
