Daniel Colemans Fight Against Cancer

I am on here because I have learned that I have stage 3 non small cell lung cancer. I have a tennis ball size tumor at the top of my right lung that will need to be shrunk down using chemo and radiation to even attempt surgery. Once the tumor is shrunk down I will have surgery to remove the tumor and part of my lung in the area of the tumor. I will be beginning my chemo and radiation in the next few weeks and then my difficult journey begins. My friends have suggested that I start a "go fund me" to help with any expenses that will come up in the future. Some of you reading this are close friends, some of you may be coworkers, some of you may be parents of kids I have coached or taught, some of you might be my video game buddies, some of you might be complete strangers that just want to help someone in need but all of you have had or will have an impact on my life. Many of you know just how big of a heart I have and know the impact I have had on your lives. I want to continue making a difference in the world through my work as a coach, teacher and mentor and Cancer will not stop me from returning to the work I love. I am not sure what to expect, this will be a long road ahead of me. This will be the greatest challenge of my life, hopefully the support I receive will help me cope with my situation and allow my family to give me the help I will need. I appreciate anyone who even looks at my page and wants to help me out through this difficult time. I will fight this cancer as hard as I can and make sure I beat it. The money raised will ensure that my family will be able to provide care for me when I am at my weakest and allow us to function without having to worry about money or insurance issues. My wife deserves her husband, my daughter deservers her Papa, my brother deserves his little brother and a mother deserves her son. So in advance, Thank You!!!
