Daniel Joseph Morris

My name is Rosemary and with the heaviest of hearts I’m so sad to say that my big brother Daniel is no longer with us. He passed away Tuesday March 5, 2024 at the young age of 38 with so much more life to live. Daniel was the life of the party and lit up every single room he ever walked into to. It was something about the way he would smile and his laugh was so contagious. They’ve always said how the good die young, but Daniel takes the cake. Not only was he my brother he was my friend and in so many instances throughout our lives he was my protector. The first person I would call no matter the situation. He was Dan the Man and he always came through. We grew up together thick and thin and eventually became neighbors when we were grown. Daniel was a part of my family’s everyday life and it’s so hard to know that he is gone. He was a good friend to his friends and would have quite literally given anyone the shirt off of his back if they needed it. He was Uncle Daniel to many nephews and nieces whom he loved very much. The son of Rose and Harry born August 19,1985 in Metairie Louisiana. Brother to myself, Melissa, Joe, Jerry, and Lilly. He was a friend to many and loved by many more. He will be fiercely missed.
