In memory of Daniel Powe
Donation protected
Our amazing friend, brother, husband, and colleague Daniel Powe suffered a heart attack on August 12, 2020. Dan was rushed to Emory Decatur Hospital where he fought for several days before passing away on August 18, 2020. He was only 36 years old. Before Dan left us, he was able to provide his final gift to this world by donating several of his organs to save the lives of others.
If you knew Dan, you know that he was always full of energy and became instant friends with everyone he met. Dan was a selfless, caring, kind, loving man who brought joy to everyone and everything around him. He was the life of every party and the light in every room. What made Dan so special to the ones closest to him was the way he made them feel about themselves. He was always the first person to tell you how great you did, or how great you looked, or to encourage you to take that one extra step towards your goals. Dan was everyone's #1 fan and everyone's best friend.
Dan's future was so bright. He had recently married the love of his life and was getting ready to celebrate their one year wedding anniversary. Dan was also looking forward to starting a new position at work and had recently become a homeowner.
Dan leaves behind his adoring wife Bonnie, his dog Pepper, his parents, and his two brothers Matt and Mike in addition to the countless people who called him one of their best friends.
We'll all miss his spirit, kindness and enthusiasm for life. Dan was one of a kind!
In recognition of everything that Dan has given us, we would like to help Bonnie cover Dan’s medical bills and funeral expenses. She, along with Dan’s family, needs our help overcoming not just the grief of Dan’s loss, but also the overwhelming financial burden with which she has been left. Let's pull together and make this happen- we want Dan to tell us how great we did one more time.
We appreciate any support you can provide.
