Daniel's family to Olympic Trials!

Last summer, at age 15, I qualified for the 2016 Olympic Swimming Trials in the 100m backstroke. That was the most amazing day! With lots of hard work and training, I plan to make at least three more Trials cuts this summer.
I have been competing in swimming since I was seven. While I have played lots of other sports, swimming was my true passion and always put a smile on my face. My family has been there for me every step of the way and they have supported me through the toughest times. I know that I would not be where I am today without the many sacrifices my family has made. I always wave at my mom and dad before every race, it brings me good luck. I'd really like to have my mom, dad, sister, and brother in the stands cheering me on!
I'm hoping to raise at least $5,000 to fund my family's travel expenses, tickets for my family, and our lodging at the Olympic Trials in Omaha next summer, June 25- July 4, 2016.
