Daniella Martinez medical expenses

As if 2020 had not already given us a run for our mental, physical and emotional health, 2021 thought it would be a great idea to step it up a notch.
For those of you who do not know her already, meet my beautiful friend, Daniella Martinez. Sassy, loud, go getter, always smiling, kick ass Registered Nurse working in the ER at Mount Sinai Hialeah freestanding.
Daniella a completely healthy 27 year old had been ignoring little symptoms that she correlated to stress for the past 2 weeks. It was not until late afternoon, February 3rd when her day went from a regular day just like any other to a complete 180 in a matter of a few hours. Daniella suddenly developed symptoms of paralysis and facial drop mimicking the signs of a stroke. These symptoms only lasted but a few hours and Daniella was advised to seek medical attention. Just like anyone at such a young age, she was nervous and hesitant. After these symptoms subsided, late in the evening, Daniella developed a headache and with much persistence from her friends and family, she finally drove herself to the nearest hospital.
Within a few hours, after much urgency at UM Hospital, Daniella got the news that she had a 4 cm meningioma in her right frontal lobe. Thanks to the amazing care at UM, Daniella would be scheduled for surgery by the end of the day on February 4th.
Today, February 5th, although this all may still seem like a dream and a nightmare at the same time, thanks to the hands that touched her and the prayers near and far, Daniella is awake, done with her first session of PT, eating and talking.
The reason behind this Go fund me is to help our dear friend pay the unforeseen medical expenses she is about to endure. Daniella had plans to take a travel assignment at the end of the month in the West Coast.
Unfortunately, Daniella will now be out of work for roughly 1-2 months, depending on her recovery.
I have opened this fundraiser today to ask everyone to come together and help ease the stress of her personal bills as well as her medical bills until she can get back on her feet.
Thank you all so much for your support !
