Danielle - Fall Down Seven Times, Stand Up Eight
Donation protected
We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed, perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted but not forsaken, struck down but not destroyed. 2 Corth 4:8-9.
Our sweet Danielle has sure had her share of affliction. In 2007, at age 25, she had bleeding on the brain, and we thought we were going to lose her. By God’s mercy, she ended up at one of the best hospitals in the world for treatment, George Washington University. They thought she had an aneurysm, but they could never find the source of the bleed. We believe God granted us a miracle.
In 2018 she lost her husband to suicide. It was soul-crushing to watch our daughter go through this. God, along with precious friends and family, carried her through. Last year she bought her first home, and we all were so excited for her.
Two weeks ago, on March 18th, at age 39, Danielle suffered a significant stroke. This is beyond comprehension for our family. The stroke has affected her left side, and she has lost peripheral vision in both eyes and left-sided weakness. As of right now, she cannot read a book, read a computer screen, watch TV or drive. She is still in the hospital as they are having a hard time controlling her severe headaches and nausea. It’s almost more than you can bear to feel helpless in helping your child.
The doctors have advised her not to work for three months to allow her brain time to heal. According to the neurologist, each person is different in the healing process- some people have a vast improvement in their symptoms, and some do not. We are begging God for complete healing. In the meantime, Danielle will not be able to work. We are setting up this fund to help with living expenses, medical bills and prescriptions while her body works on regaining what she has lost.
If you are a believer, please join us in praying for another miracle for our Danielle. If you would like to help Danielle with expenses, please use the link below and feel free to share with your friends.
