It is with heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking story of Danielle Abrahams, a vibrant and beloved wife, family member, and friend, whose life was tragically cut short by the reckless actions of a drunk driver. On 08/03/2023, Danielle was in the safety of her own home when a drunk driver crashed into her residence, shattering the tranquility of her family's life forever.
Danielle was a woman of immense warmth, compassion, and boundless energy. Her infectious laughter and unwavering love touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. As a devoted wife to William Abrahams, daughter to Anna Layne and Jim/James Layne, sister to James Layne, Justine Baker, and Ashley Scott, she poured her heart and soul into creating a loving home where joy and unity thrived, and her garden blossomed from the warmth of the sun and her love.
Tragically, the devastating impact of the drunk driver's actions extended beyond the loss of a precious life. The force of the collision rendered the family home uninhabitable, leaving William, and James without a place to call their own. The senseless and selfish act of one individual has left this family grappling with grief, trauma, and displacement all at once.
Amid this harrowing ordeal, we are joining together to seek justice for Danielle and her family. Our mission is twofold: to ensure that the responsible party is held accountable for their reckless behavior and to provide the support that William and James urgently need.
Funds raised through this campaign will be used to aid in legal proceedings, ensuring that justice is served in Danielle's memory. Additionally, a portion of the funds will go toward helping William and James secure a new home and rebuild their lives from the ground up.
