Danielle Soucy's Cancer Treatment

Hi everyone!

My name is Brittany Soucy and I am creating this fundraiser for my sister Danielle. As many of you may have heard Danielle has recently been diagnosed with Multi-Cell Ovarian Cancer. After doing a routine test, they found that she had an 18cm tumor and sent her into life saving emergency surgery. She was told after the surgery that her chances of having her own family is very slim to none at this point. She is only 28 years old. Danielle is an amazing sister, daughter, friend, fiancé, and dog mom to just name a few. We are devastated to have to see such a good human go through such an awful life changing event.

While we are extremely grateful that they found the tumor in time, we found out that it had leaked out into her abdomen. After multiple biopsies were completed, they found that more cancer cells were present. Because of this, she will need to undergo intense chemotherapy as soon as possible to prevent the cancer cells from spreading anywhere else in her body. Her chemotherapy will be very extensive and she will be getting treatment almost everyday for the next 2-3 months. This is going to be a very long road to recovery for Danielle.

Despite all of this, she is remaining as positive and optimistic as possible. If you know Danielle you know that she cares about everyone she meets, and continues to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it without hesitation. She did not want me to create a GoFundMe because she is not one to ask for help and inconvenience others. Unfortunately we are learning VERY quickly how expensive all of this can be. The suddenness of this did not allow for our family to plan for any of the very expensive medical costs that come along with the initial surgery, chemo treatments, and continued lifelong testing.

Anything that can be donated is so very much appreciated. All proceeds will go towards her continued medical treatment and costs, and allow her to focus more on her recovery and healing.
