Daniel Poisoned by fentanyl. Current need Handicap bathroom

Our hope is that Daniel and his sister Noelle's stories brings heightened awareness to the mental health and Fentanyl crisis we have in the United States.

This GoFundMe was created to raise funds for our son Daniel, who at the age of 21 was poisoned by Fentanyl, on September 26th, 2020.

By the grace of God he survived but has an Anoxic Brain Injury, complete reliance on tube feeding, severe spasticity in all four limbs, inability to talk and complete dependency on my husband and I for care. We have been blessed to take care of Daniel at home for the past 4+ years.

Daniel's sister Noelle "Forever21" was also poisoned by Fentanyl but did not survive and went to to be with Jesus on July 1st 2023.

Over the past 4 years we have learned that:

Fentanyl is the number one killer in the United States for those aged 18 to 45 (and getting younger every year).

Every 11 seconds someone is poisoned by fentanyl in the US and dies.

In 2022 alone over 140K US citizens were poisoned and died from Fentanyl.

The chemicals come from China and/or India and are sent to Mexico; to made into Fentanyl in Mexican Labs.

Powdered fentanyl looks just like many other drugs. It is commonly mixed with drugs like heroin, cocaine and methamphetamine and made into pills that are made to resemble other prescription Opiods. Most people are not aware that the drugs they are taking contain Fentanyl. It is nearly impossible to tell whether drugs have been mixed with fentanyl.

Or it may be laced onto other "street" drugs. Because of it's extreme potency it makes drugs cheaper, more powerful, more addictive and more dangerous. Street dealers, for example may distribute 10 free pills, knowing that seven out of 10 people will die and the other three will become immediately addicted. Resulting in 3 new clients.

With our open borders, these drugs are brought into our country; through illegal immigrants, Mexican cartel and unfortunately US citizens. They are then distributed by local drug dealers.

A suitcase full of Fentanyl brought in from Mexico is enough to kill one Million people.

Fentanyl is 50 Times stronger than Heroin.

And a hundred times more powerful than morphine.

1/10th of a gram of Fentanyl is enough to kill a person, (equal to the tip of a pencil).

I know this is a lot of information but please share what you can and Lord willing, perhaps it will save a life.

Let no one else die as my baby girl Noelle or suffer the life our son Daniel is.

As for Daniel's GoFundMe historically, donations have enabled us to buy a handicap accessible minivan, a modern hospital bed, handicap shower wheelchair, at home physical therapy, alternative medical therapy such as acupuncture, chiropractic care, neurotherapy,

Platelet Rich Plasma therapy (PRP), necessary supplies not covered by medical insurance, reconstruction of his bedroom, and other needs not supplied by our medical insurance.

*Currently, our largest financial need is for 5 days a week assistance at home, to redo our bathroom to be handicap accessible, and for medical supplies not covered by insurance.
