Springfield, MA—-Pastor Andrew Daniels and the First Lady Alice Daniels of Daniels New Bethel Church of God in Christ (COGIC) announce a capital campaign for repairs and restoration of the church building located at 1321 Dwight Street. Donations accepted online at https://www.gofundme.com/daniels-new-bethel-restoration or in person at any TD Bank branch location. In-kind donations such as volunteer time and materials are also welcome.
The Need
Last month, code enforcement did an exterior inspection of the church citing areas of concern which included porches and windows.
Pastor Daniels remarked, “While we are thankful the department recently agreed to extend the time we have to make repairs, our small and dedicated congregation just went through a pledge drive for roof repair work...the expense is just outside of our immediate means.” He continued, “We are seeking the community’s help to tackle what the the city is telling us we need to do to bring our church building into compliance.”
First Lady Daniels commented, “We hope individuals will be moved to give generously in honor of the deep and lasting legacy of Pastor Daniels who has dedicated his entire life to bringing hope, joy and love touching many lives in our City.”

In 1980 it was purchased by Pastor Daniels to be the permanent home of Daniels New Bethel Church of God in Christ (COGIC).
