Daniil’s Support Fund

Our sweet Daniil got into a fight with a downed tree in the woods, and came out with a fractured skull, two fractured vertebrae, damaged ear bones, and some nerve damage in his face. We’re so grateful that he made it out alive to tell the tale for years to come.

His injuries are extensive, so he won’t be able to work (or bring us scallops) for at least three months. He also had to stay in the hospital for six days, have several CT scans and MRIs, and may still need surgery to repair the damage. He’s young, and strong, and making great progress that is delighting his medical team, but the extent of the cost of his treatment is still unknown.

We know there are so many people who want to pitch in to help, and we figured this was the best way to do it. Daniil is one of the most active and dynamic people any of us know, and we want to do anything we possibly can to facilitate his recovery and help get him back to his usual, bouncy, creative self.
