Dani's Battle: A Rare One

My name is Chrissy Anderson. I am starting this campaign for my best friend Danielle Hollobaugh, her husband John and their unborn child. We are asking for donations and/or prayers as they begin their fight against Cancer. Danielle and John were recently married on October 8, 2016 and shortly after Christmas they announced that they were expecting. Unfortunately on the first ultrasound a rapidly growing ovarian mass was detected. Pathology reports confirmed Small Cell Carcinoma Ovarian Hypercalcemic Type Cancer-SCCOHT, a rare and aggressive cancer with only 300 reported cases in the literature and few to no cases reported in pregnant women.Danielle underwent surgery to remove the tumor and her left ovary; she is undergoing chemotherapy. Oncologists from world renowned universities have joined together to formulate a treatment plan to save her and protect the baby. Danielle is unable to continue working during her treatment. We hope to lighten their financial burden, and shower them with love and support. May God Bless this family.
