Danita Grice Memorial Scholarship

Our mom fiercely battled complications
from COVID-19 in a hospital bed the last several weeks. She lost her fight on
9/12/2020. Her spirit never gave up but unfortunately her body did.

My brothers and I would like to set up a 
yearly memorial scholarship in her
honor. This scholarship will be awarded 
to high school seniors or current college students with a passion for helping 
others that are pursuing a career in 
healthcare. The awardees will be
selected based on essay submission and
personal reasons for pursuing a career in the field. So much of what she went
through was preventable and we know 
she would want to help support future
patient advocates.

We will be accepting donations for those interested and the remainder of the
scholarship will be endowed by our 
family.
