Danney Advani Memorial Fund

Dear friends and colleagues of Danney Advani,

We have all been so fortunate to meet this amazing person, who brought brightness to every room he entered with his wit, his sense of calm and his infectious smile.

Earlier this year Danney was diagnosed with a very serious illness and had been receiving treatment in Singapore where he had recently moved for work. Despite his fight against this illness, Danney’s health deteriorated quickly and he passed away on the 15th of June, after celebrating his 41st Birthday. Danney’s wife Khushboo and their young son Bhavin were by his side, as well as the rest of his family.

Danney was an exceptional and passionate person. He was an engaging and well-respected member of our AMS team and an amazing friend. Anyone who met Danney could see his passion and dedication to his work, whether it was in Australia, Taiwan or Singapore. Some people were lucky enough to see his other passions, Bikram yoga, photography, and a vinyl connoisseur to name a few. He loved being involved in a team, participating each year in Dragon Boat racing with Thales and fundraising for Movember.

Danney was also passionate about his family, his wife Khushboo and his young son Bhavin who brought him so much happiness and pride.

Danney’s passing has left Khushboo and Bhavin navigating unknown waters in a foreign country, and many of us in Australia have not been able to be there in person to support them. In creating this crowdfunding campaign, we hope to do as much as we can to support them from here and help ease some of the burdens they are facing.

All funds raised will directly go to Khushboo and Bhavin, ensuring that they have the necessary resources to navigate their lives and ensure Khushboo can spend valued time with Bhavin, to focus on healing and rebuilding their lives.

We understand that not everyone may be able to contribute financially, but you can assist by sharing this campaign with your network and raising awareness about Danney's family situation. Your generosity and kindness will make a significant difference in Khushboo and Bhavin’s lives, and we are immensely grateful for any contribution you can make.

Khushboo and Bhavin will remain in Singapore for the time being until they finalise their plans for the future. For logistical reasons, Khushboo could not be assigned as the beneficiary of this GoFundMe, so, with approval from Khushboo, Danney’s close friend and co-worker Emilie Bacquart has been allocated as the beneficiary of this campaign. Emily will transfer all funds directly to Khushboo.
