Danni’s Fight
Donation protected
On 07/18/2020 Danni was rushed to the hospital with severe shortness of breath. They got her stabilized over night and took a cat scan of her chest and she had fluid surrounding her right lung. The next day they took 2 liters of fluid from around her lung and that seemed to help significantly. Testing throughout the week determined that she has T Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia which is very rare. There’s only about 3000 cases a year with about 15% of those being T cell. It’s very aggressive so they transferred her right away to Taussig Cancer Center to start treatment immediately. She’s was on the leukemia floor for the past two weeks And just recently returned home. After that she’ll be getting outpatient treatment over the next year, and the hope is to get this in remission within six to eight months. The prognosis is very good with there being an 80% cure rate, but it’s going to be a rough year for her. She will be out of school and work for an undetermined amount of time and any donation to help with medical and living expenses would be greatly appreciated!! I know we will have everyone’s support during all this. Thank you all in advance!
