A Message From Greg and Danny received today:
"Thank you!!! to everyone who has donated to this GoFundMe. We appreciate your help more than you could ever know.
Danny is coming along well and the funds helped so immensely getting us through co-payments and the mortgage payment last month.
We would not have been able to do that without the help. We are blessed to have such wonderful friends and family.

Dear Friends of Danny and Greg:
As if these two wonderful men have not had enough to endure over the past year dealing with Jim Reeder's devastating illness and passing, on Sunday February 2nd, Danny fell from a ladder and burst his L1 vertebrae.
Although (thank goodness!) there is no lasting nerve damage or paralysis, he will be undergoing surgery on Wednesday February 5 to have steel rods inserted into his spine to provide the stability necessary to heal. The steel rods will remain in place for two years and he will have lots and lots of physical therapy to contend with for a very long time.
Danny is expected to be in Lutheran General Hospital for at least a week, and then move to a rehab center for to be determined amount of time. He is in a great deal of pain currently but hoping for the best.
Sadly, what's worrying Danny and Greg most at this time is both the potentially huge amount of medical bills he will incur AND the loss of income they are facing with Danny unable to work for upwards of several months.
Please contribute to this GoFundMe and help give them some peace of mind. The financial pressure they face taking on Danny's medical expenses while still paying off Jim's catastrophic medical expenses is just overwhelming.
Funds raised here will go directly to medical expenses and also offset lost income while Danny is unable to work.
These two kind men have been nothing but generous to so many of us all, let's return the favor in their time of need.
