Help Danny Hardy's family with medical costs

Daniel Brian Hardy, born Aug 7th, 1975, joined the United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers Local 97 in June of 1996 as a second-generation Roofer, following in his dad’s footsteps. Danny could not wait to be just like his dad. Danny’s father, Daniel Hardy Jr., served 21 years for Local 97 and Danny himself has proudly served 27 years this June, as a Union Roofer for Local 97. Danny’s son-in-law has also joined the family tradition and has served Local 97 for 7 years.

Danny met his wife Christy in 1991, they were married in 1996. Danny and Christy have three children, and 6 grandchildren with one on the way, due on Danny’s birthday this year! As you can imagine Danny is everything to Christy and his family.

On April 3, 2023, Danny went in for an MRI on his right shoulder, within an hour Danny received a call that the MRI had picked up cancer. Danny and his wife will now have to make a trip to Chicago on April 13, 2023, to get answers. It is too early in the process for us to update a diagnosis, or even provide the answers that so many of you will be looking for, but we will update you all as soon as we can. Right now, our main concern and the purpose of this GoFundMe is to assist Danny and his family financially so they can get to his doctor appointments, and not have to worry about making ends meet during his layoff for treatment.
