Danny Jones World Scout Jamboree 25, WSJ

Hello, my name is Danny, and I am an Explorer Scout from the Wirral. In February 2022, I attended a selection day to attend the 25th World Scout Jamboree in Korea. I am incredibly proud to represent Wallasey, alongside two other Explorers, in Unit 54 and excited to be part of the UK contingent. In Summer 2023, more than 40,000 Scouts from all over the world will gather in SaeManGeum in South Korea for the 25th World Scout Jamboree. This once in a lifetime opportunity brings together Scouts from all over the world every four years.

This amazing experience will allow me to meet Scouts from all over the world, form new friendships, and experience their cultures. I am looking forward to meeting like-minded people who love scouting just as much as I do. In addition, I will bring back new knowledge and skills to the groups I help with as a Young Leader in Wallasey.
