*Update* Brother Arlin was returned to work with full back and benefits after winning the arbitration for his second termination. A huge thank you to everyone for your support in this fight. When we stand strong together, we win!!!

On 3/23/22, UPS fired our Brother Danny Arlin under false accusations of falsifying records in retaliation for his Union activity. The company stalled and delayed the grievance process, keeping Brother Arlin out of work for 8 months, forcing him to survive on unemployment benefits, and causing him to lose his health insurance for himself and his son. Through economic hardship, the company hoped to force Brother Arlin to accept a suspension rather than fight these bogus charges. Danny stood strong, and last week won his case at arbitration for reinstatement with back pay and benefits. Several days later the company called for a meeting with Danny and his Union representatives, presumably to discuss his return to work. Instead, the company proceeded to fire him again, this time for alleged unprofessional conduct while he was discharged, for actions that were already addressed by the arbitrator's decision. Clearly the company is playing sore loser, and Brother Arlin plans to continue his fight for justice, but the economic stress is taking its toll. I am starting this page and asking that you support Brother Arlin in his fight, because it is right, and because it is our fight too. Thank you.
