Danny Mooney Jr

On Sunday April 16th, the Mooney family suffered an overwhelming loss when Danny Jr. passed away. His family, friends and community are beyond devastated and heartbroken. Danny leaves behind his wife Maggie and three children, Arianna, Donovan and Kiernan. Their lives will forever be changed and their future without him uncertain. In response to the outpouring of support during this difficult time, we would like to offer friends and family the opportunity to donate to a fund that will help with future expenses. We hope to alleviate some financial stress while the family navigates a new normal.

Danny Mooney Jr. was an Operating Supervisor in B/W Electric Operations Meter & Test department and had over 20 years at Con Edison. Danny was well-loved and well-liked by his peers in Electric Ops, known for being responsive, knowledgeable and helpful to all employees that reached out for his assistance.

Danny has many familial ties at Con Edison. His father served the company for 30+ years. His wife of 17 years, Maggie Mooney, has worked for both Con Edison and O&R for over 18 years. In addition, his sisters Patricia (Patty) and Leona (Noni) have been with the company for 14 and 11 years respectively.
