Danny Wepaman Vargas

On Thursday April 9, 2020, our beloved Donahue "Danny Wepaman' Vargas left us. He was only 56 years of age. He is survived by his wife Maureen, sons Storm & Shayne, daughter Shannon Ramos (Vargas), son-in-law Josh Ramos, five grandchildren Rylan, Grayson, Summer, Everly, Adeleigh, mother Carmen Igartua, brothers Jesse & Victor, and sister Janet, and many nieces and nephews.
His family, friends, and the music industry lost a great human being. He was a phenomenal father, husband and grandfather. He was also an innovator in the music industry. All who knew him are devastated beyond words about his passing.
Danny was a funny, talented and caring man. I called him the pied piper because children of all ages naturally gravitated to him because he himself was very childlike. He was a model dad that played and encouraged his children. He even displayed this behavior with any child he was in contact with regardless if they were family or not. It was these attributes that made it easy for me to select him and his wife as my daughter’s Godparents.
Danny was very proud of his Puerto Rican heritage and worked hard in a normal blue-collar job trying to provide for his family and never foresaw for a minute that he would leave his family in such a vulnerable position. In his death, he taught us all a valuable lesson. I myself learned that no matter our age, life is very fragile and can change in the blink of an eye.
Many have approached me asking if they could assist the family financially. After many heartbreaking conversations with his wife, trying to console her and re-assure her that she is not alone in her sorrow, she agreed to allow me to setup this page in his memory.
I come to all who knew him humbly to ask for help. He was a proud man that provided for his family and unfortunately, no one could predict him passing at such a young age. His family was not prepared for this tragedy emotionally or financially.
These are very uncertain times that we are currently living in and we need to come together and help one another. Hopefully one sweet day we can all get together and celebrate his life and legacy in a proper manner, but for now I ask that if you are able, to please find it in your heart to donate whatever you can to help his family he loved beyond words. Please note all money collected will go directly to his family.
I would like to thank all who took the time to read this message regardless whether or not you can make a donation. I wish you and your families good health and many blessings.
