Danny Wisdom

Hi! My name is Danielle Wisdom. My dad is Danny Wisdom. Many of the local people know him as the owner of Danny's Auto Service currently located on Market St. In Hannibal. My dad is the best man I will ever know in my life and is there for anyone in any way he can be. I am trying to raise some money for my parents as my dads health has declined in the last few years and has caused some very difficult times. Before I was born my dad had a kidney transplant. It lasted him 22 wonderful years and for that we are so blessed. But 3 years ago his kidney failed and he has been on dialysis ever since. 3 times a week he goes and do you know what he does on his days off from dialysis? He tries to work to provide for him and my mom. Over the past year that has become almost impossible as both of his shoulders have tore and are not operable due to his kidney and heart condition. His heart function is under 40% making him ineligible for a kidney transplant. He had Covid back in October and thankfully recovered from that with no long term effects but that put financial strain on my parents because of the time my mom had to take off work. And they still haven't been able to get caught back up from that. Then Last week my dad was admitted to the hospital with possible sepsis and again my mom has been off to take care of my dad putting them even further into financial hardship. Also their air conditioning quit last week. There was a very nice gentleman who donated a central air unit but it's going to cost atleast $500 to get hooked up. I understand that these are hard times for everyone and completely understand if you are not in a position to donate but even a share helps so much! My parents have never been the ones to ask for anything for free and I'm not sure how they will feel about this but the absolute last thing that they should have to worry about right now is money. I just want my parents to be able to focus on the important things and my dad getting better. Stress of money does not help that.
