Danny's Tragic Transition

Donation protected
It was another day for Danny until he heard his mom yell for him. He ran out to see his step-father had physically abused his mom. She called the cops and Danny tried to be the voice of reason. He ran to his room to switch into some pants and when he ran back he saw through the dining room window his step-father shoot his mother three times in the chest. He shouted for his mother took one step then quickly realized he needed to get out of there. Danny turned to run down the hallway and the step-father was quick to chase him down; shot Danny the first in the back hitting below the left shoulder blade and went through the left lung lodging before it hit an artery. Danny didn't know he was shot yet, he kept running. The second shot hit him in the lower spine and his legs collapsed instantly and Danny fell to the ground. As the step-father made that second shot he said Die you Son of a b****. Danny pulled himself and his legs into the bathroom and shortly after the cops came and airlifted him to the hospital.

They did emergency surgery on Danny removing the bullet from his lungs but had to saw open his sternum to do so. The Spinal surgens decided to leave the bullet in his spine or else it would do more damage to take it out. He has a T12 spinal injury and the doctors said he will not walk again. Danny spent a month in the hospital; when they went to discharge Danny he realized that he no longer had a house to go to. Luckily his friends are kind enough to let him stay in their living room as Danny tries to transition back into the world with no legs.

He is struggling to find a home, and any financial aid to help him cope and survive. He unfortunately has to be out of his friends living room by September with no where to go. The donations would be help Danny pay for medications, help him get into a physical therapist, finding a home, and help him go back to school to find a new career where he can love life all over again.
