Danny's Donors

My name is Lori Kusters and I am creating this Gofundme for Steve Atkinson on behalf of his brother, Danny Atkinson.

Danny was hospitalized on July 7, 2023 having been diagnosed with bacterial meningitis. He was originally at Mercy West Hospital where he was placed in an induced coma. On July 9, 2023, his medical team agreed to have him air lifted to Jewish hospital. Since being at Jewish he was slowly taken out of the induced coma he was placed in, has opened his eyes and has been responsive to others. The tubes in his throat were removed on July 12 and he is scheduled to be released today, July 13, 2023! This illness came on suddenly and will set Danny back financially. He is not in a financial position to handle all the costs associated with the medical bills he will incur. Steve is asking for contributions to help alleviate the stress and as much financial burden as possible. All contributions are greatly appreciated and will go to pay the hospital bills.
