Danny's Vegas Adventure with Project Magic

My name is Danny Redd, I'm 66 years old and live in Whittemore, Michigan with my caregiver and her family. The reason why I need the money is for a once in a lifetime trip to Las Vegas to see David Copperfield on February 3rd, 4th, and 5th. The money will be used for tips, renting a car, and for food, besides renting a power wheelchair to get around in Las Vegas.

Back in 1978, I was writing letters to David about meeting him when he came to Michigan on his tour. I told him that I also did magic. When he came to Michigan, he arranged tickets for me, and I got to meet him after the show. What I didn't tell him in my letters was that I was disabled. After he got over the initial shock, he was surprised that I could do magic from my wheelchair. After that meeting, David started "Project Magic". What is "Project Magic"? It's a form of physical therapy for kids and adults. It helps to improve their self-esteem and shows that there's nothing you can't achieve in life just because you have a disability.

I've been in contact with David for the last 3 months, and he wants me to come to Las Vegas (along with my caregiver and her husband) to go to a nearby hospital and see "Project Magic" in action. Besides that, I'll get to see his magic museum and his live stage show. David said that the hotel rooms at the MGM Grand Hotel will be on him, but I'm not sure about anything. I know that money's tight for everyone now, but if you could make this once in my lifetime trip happen, I would greatly appreciate it.
