Dan's England U15 cricket journey - World Series
Donation protected
For those of you who know Daniel, you will know that cricket is his passion. From his very early days in Playball, growing up with Spondon CC, representing Derbyshire since U10’s and starting indoor cricket age 8, training under the Elite performance programme and more recently the National and Super leagues - Daniel loves his cricket!
Following lots of hard work and determination, Daniel now has the amazing opportunity to make his dreams come true and represent England U15’s in the Junior World Series in Dubai this September. This is an enormous achievement and we are immensely proud of him.
Unfortunately, Indoor cricket, although supported by the England Cricket Board (ECB) is not funded and the cost to play in the tournament falls to the individual player. With flights, accommodation, training, kit and tournament fees the total cost for this opportunity is just under £3000, and we now have a short amount of time to raise funds to get Daniel to Dubai.
Daniel has pledged that he will help to raise funds by undertaking the challenge of matching the number of miles from Derby to Dubai in catching practice using his Crazy Catch Rebound net over the next 6 weeks – a total of 3476 catches required!
We know how challenging times are for everybody right now, but if you feel you would like to give any contribution at all to support him it would be massively appreciated.
If any businesses would like to sponsor Daniel, your logo could be displayed on his training kit, cricket bag or bat. Please get in touch directly for further details on this.
The tournament will be streamed live so it's a great chance to follow the action!
Thank you very much for your help in supporting Daniel to fulfil his dream of competing internationally.
