Dans liver transplant

Anyone that knows Dan Tetley knows he would do anything for anyone. He would give you his last $10 if you needed it, no questions asked. Now Dan needs our help.

Dan was diagnosed with a rare auto immune disease that effects the liver, called PSC, about three years ago. PSC isn't something that is caused by excessive drinking or drugs or anything else that someone causes themselves.. Unfortunately Dans liver condition has deteriorated drastically over the last 4 months and is now in the end stage of liver function. His only option now is a liver transplant to save his life. The costs medically have had a massive impact on Dan and his family with constant visits to Sydney hospitals weekly, resulting in time off work. Dan has been off work for 2 months, return back to work at this moment is still unknown.

Dan and his family are not ones to ask for help or charity and have been doing what they can do to get through this tough time.

The stress of Dans health is taking its toll without the worry of finances on top of it.

Primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) is a chronic liver disease in which the bile ducts inside and outside the liver become inflammed and scarred, and eventually narrowed or blocked. When this happens, bile builds up in the liver and causes further liver damage.
