My husband was diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer in June 2018. Chemo.radiation and 5 surgeries the last one in Dec.2022.he is cancer free but had a leak that caused ongoing infections.the last major surgery did nothing.He has had abscess in his back after.He has missed alot of work but has also worked alot with a chemo. Pump right after doing radiation and drain tube in his back now for a couple months before his next surgery July 28 which is his birthday.They Will removed the infected tailbone.The goal is to stop the cause of these infections which he has had Home Health for.They need to remove the rectum and Anus.which would leave a hole because of the tissue damage.(plastic surgery)Hopefully they can use the fat in the stomach and not have to take muscle from his legs.So 3 1/2 hours surgery just for that.The problem is the prostate is stuck to the rectum.He May lose that and his bladder.Has. Permanent Colostomy.Medical bills are thousands and now his Jeep with 210,000 miles keeps overheating.Replaced the whole coolant system, sensors etc.no signs of a cracked head either. He has 4 more weeks to work before surgery.We work different hours.It hasn’t stopped for us for 5 years.I have my own health issues that are on hold.If you can help we would be very thankful.Thanks and God Bless.
