Dan's Medical Journey

I am starting this GoFundMe to financially help Dan & Sherry Pollard with Dan's ongoing medical journey.

As most of us know Dan has been sick for quite some time with heart problems. This year to date Dan has made 12 trips to St. John’s and several to Corner Brook. He has had many hospital and hostile stays which has costed them thousands of dollars.

Right now Dan is admitted to the hospital in St. John’s waiting to be medevacked to Ottawa because he has congestive heart failure. He will then undergo a series of tests to see if he is a candidate for a heart transplant. First and foremost we pray he is a candidate for this life saving procedure, then the wait begins. A support person is required to be with him for the duration of his stay which could be several months. His wife Sherry will be by his side day and night. This will take an enormous toll on them in every way and I pray that together we can help alleviate the financial stress that will be involved.

Dan and Sherry are two beautiful humans who have always been there to help out those in need . Right now they are in need of many, many prayers and well wishes as well as financial help.

I chose the photo of Dan in his happy place on the water and I pray that he can get back to this place in the not so distant future.
