Dante Elbehiry
It is with an extreme heavy heart I share that after a long courageous battle to cancer, Dante lost his fight yesterday. Anyone that knew Dante loved him. He could make a room light up with his smile and made such an impact in his short life through his love of cooking, soccer and cars. Please help me support the family in this unimaginable loss. The family needs our support more than ever.
Dante Ibrahim Moataz Elbehiry, 17, of Weymouth, Massachusetts. Born September 15, 2003, lost his hard fought battle with Stage 4 Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma on Thursday August 26,2021. He was the first graduate of Weymouth High Schools Class of 2022, and was named Captain of Weymouth High Schools Soccer team. Dante grew up with a love for soccer. Starting out with Weymouth Youth Soccer, he then played for Weymouth United Futbol Team and Weymouth Travel Soccer Team becoming the South Sectional Champions. After, he played with the Boston Bolts. Finally ending his soccer career with GPS after an injury to his ankle. Dante also had a love for cars. He was able to briefly enjoy his dream car, his 2003 Nissan 350z. He thankfully was able to see all of his dream modifications come to fruition before he passed. Dante had a passion for cooking, it came naturally to him. Ever since he was little he loved to watch cooking shows. Every meal he made was from scratch and they were always phenomenal.
He is survived by his parents Moataz and Danielle Elbehiry. His brother Brandin Balurdi and fiance Ainsley Story. His sister Madga Bella Elbehiry. His Auntie Heather Eason and cousin Harley Silva. His Uncle Ahmed Ragab, Aunt Stephanie Ragab, and Cousins Adam, Alex, Aiden, and Aaron Ragab. His beloved girlfriend Isabella Mango, who he promised to love entirely forever. Her parents Paul and Linda Mango, and sister Bianca Mango. Isabella's Auntie Rose and Uncle Nino Tortomasi. His "grandfather" Kevin Hersey and his wife Sheila Hersey. As well as a small, close, and dedicated group of friends. He is predeceased by his Maternal Grandmother Linda J. Eason, Paternal Grandmother Magda Tawfik and Uncle Robert Eason.
Prayer services are closed to only close family and friends. Burial will be open to all who can attend. Burial will be Saturday August 28, 2021 following the Prayer services. Burial will be at 11:00 in the morning at Knollwood Cemetery Garden of Meditation located at 321 High Street Canton, MA 02021. Please arrive to the cemetery by 10:30 in the morning.
