Darby’s Vet Bill after being hit by a car.

Hey everyone,

so my precious Puphew; Darby was hit by a car, he was chasing a squirrel in the park and ran out into the road and was taken into the emergency vet to be seen - they did X-rays and put a splint on him.

Jamie was told Darby may need the surgery but if he got it done that day and jamie couldn’t pay it, he would be turned over to the humane society.

that being said - we sent the info around to different vets and were told that he needed to see a specialist.

we found one out in Barrie who is willing to see Darby AT A SUPER REASONABLE price considering - and Darby will be getting custom fibreglass splints weekly/biweekly and monitored very closely while he recovers - if he heals well, there’s a good chance he won’t need the surgery.
