Darcy Knock

On Tuesday January 22nd, surrounded by family, our dear friend, father, brother, uncle, son and husband Darcy, lost a brief, but courageous battle with cancer at the tragically young age of 40 years old.  Darcy was a devoted and loving father to his 3 young children, his pride and joy, Kaylin, Logan and Zayne, as well as a best friend to his beautiful wife, Amanda. 

An avid outdoorsmen with a passion for helping others, Darcy could always be found putting others first, helping with anything and everything needed.  If you had an incident in the wild and lost your shirt, with Darcy around, you had nothing to worry about as he would give you his without thought or hesitation, a literal shirt off the back, compassionate being.  This passion and compassion could be observed in Darcy’s working life as well.  Dedicated, caring and beyond well respected by his peers.  A tireless mentor, constantly supporting all around him in whatever way he could.

After this tragic loss, Darcy needs my help, our help, and your help.  The costs of paying last respects, ensuring Darcy has the most respectful burial are large.  His beautiful young family, who has had their time with him so sadly ended have to endure this burden and find the strength to carry on.  The children are all involved in extra-curricular sports and activities that will not be sustainable without some assistance.  Our hopes are to raise some funds so the children can continue making their best effort at living their “normal” lives while they recover, together, from their monumental loss.
