Dare Adegboye left Nigeria when he was 18 to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Ukraine, 5 years down the line, when he was about to graduate, the war broke out in Ukraine, and he was part of the displaced students. He was trapped in the war zone for a whole month before he could escape to Europe, at the time of his escape, his education in Ukraine was disrupted and he had to transfer to Lithuania to complete his Marine Engineering program. On getting to Lithuania, he had to pay full tuition again. After paying part of the tuition, he was told to leave the country due to visa issue, which was waived for other Ukrainian in Lithuania. The tuition he paid was non-refundable hence the whole money went to the drain. He had to leave Lithuania, and while trying to survive in Europe, switching countries, he applied for a Canadian visa and the visa was approved. Few organizations financially assisted him travel to Canada.
He arrived Canada on the 13th of August 2022 and has been offered admission to the New Brunswick community college for a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology. Therefore, he is soliciting financial assistance to raise $21, 000 to help with his international student tuition and accommodation to settle in Canada. This will help him recover from all he has lost with the war and start all over.
Dare is a brilliant, dedicated, and hardworking young man, but this soliciting comes as the last option to meet up with the tuition deadline since classes resume next week, the 6th of September, and enable him to continue paying for his accommodation pending when he can get a part-time job and get his feet on the ground.
Thank you for your anticipated support.
