Dare to Donate for Daron
Donation protected
If you’ve spent any time in Downtown Macon, GA, you probably know Daron Kline. If you haven’t been fortunate enough to meet Daron personally, you’d definitely know someone who has. A lot of people have been concerned and asked where he is. In late October, Daron was diagnosed with late-stage liver failure.
Daron has always had a way of saying the things that no one else has the balls to say, and his sense of sarcasm and realistic outlook on the hellscape we live in is what we love about him most. Daron has also always been there to support those he loves most. Now he needs us to support him.
Unfortunately, the effects of this illness have prevented Daron from doing what he does best, loving and supporting the people in his community. Daron is currently unable to work and will not be able to return to work until he receives a life-saving transplant. As you can imagine, the medical and living expenses are stacking up quickly and will only continue to grow as the journey continues. Once Daron is approved for and able to receive a donor's liver, the surgery and associated expenses are expected to be at least $80,000. This does not include any medical care or day-to-day living expenses in the months leading up to that time. As you can imagine, this is a daunting number to face, and we are asking for all the help we can get.
