Dark Climb Dreams of 2024 NATL Paraclimbing Comps

I am a tenacious person who gives everything for what I love. Whether that is my family, my friends, my causes, or my hobbies. I devote my whole being to that which I love. And I Love climbing. My friends and family got me onto that wall and kept me there through the good days and the bad days, but I was the one who got me to the top. I am devoted to climbing. It feeds something inside of me that drowns out the haters who shout that I am not good enough. That I am too disabled. That I should stop trying to be more than who and what I am. That I should just give up. Climbing gives me something tangible that I can grab onto and shout back, "I can do this awesome thing!" No one can tell me that I am not good enough, not skilled enough, not devoted enough. I didn't have that kind of confidence when I started climbing. I do now. I am not sure when it cropped up, but I am grateful and look forward to turning it towards the next thing I do which is the world cup tour in Utah, Austria and France. I am the third ranking member of the Women’s B1 (completely blind) United states National Para climbing team. Working and climbing at the same gym all while training: I take care of my son and two dogs. No easy task as a single parent. My entire life I conquered every adverse rock in life’s path from a rare inherited eye disease at birth to the everyday barriers. Navigating through the dark world to show my son and others that if they try hard and fight for their dream’s achievement is possible. I need your financial and social support to reach the World Cups. Your donations allow my caller and me to travel and compete. Nationals took just under $3000 for transport, lodging, food, and fuel. The projected cost for Utah is $7000. Your shares on social media accounts allow my story to reach others. I ask you to share and donate.
