ABOUTTHE DIRECTOR
Martin Owens-Cairns is a British actor and Director. He has appeared in a variety of professional Theatre, TV & Film Productions over his 20 year career. He is the Director & Owner of the production company MirrorMan Productions which he set up in 2019.
"DARK FOREST" is a short Horror film written by Lee McShane, a local of Newcastle. It is the story of four teenagers who have just recently graduated from College. They decide to spend one last night together by going camping in the forest. Everything seems to be going very well until two of them come across a hole in the ground with a grave in it. Things then take a turn for the worst!
CAST:
GEORGIA CONLAN
Georgia Conlan is a British actress who graduated from University in 2017. After gaining a First Class BA (Hons) degree in Music Theatre, she made her professional debut in London playing 'Winnie' in 'Annie Get Your Gun' at The Union Theatre. She starred in other various professional Stage productions before making the decision to get into TV/Film last year, she has appeared as 'Jenny' in the Mcdonald's Festive Advert and recently worked for the BBC. Her recent TV credits include 'Charlie' in '4'Oclock Club' and guest lead 'Heather' in a stand alone episode of BBC 'Doctors'. Earlier this year she was cast as a leading role in retro horror 'Bats: The Awakening'. She has written and directed several short films including 'Locked IN' and 'Sleep Tight', and later this year will be starring and directing her first feature film 'Charlotte' playing the title character.'
PAUL FITZPATRICK
Paul Fitzpatrick is a British actor who was born in January 1980 and took an interest in acting from the age of 10, he went on to study Drama at Newcastle College between 1996-1999 and at that time had a brief appearance in a short lived TYNETEES soap opera entitled 'QUAYSIDE'. Since then has took on various jobs and parts within the industry. Such as, interviewing leading actor 'Michael Craig' in February 2009 for BBC's topical programme 'INSIDE OUT', and has acted, appearing in worldwide productions, such as 'FRONTIER' for NETFLIX! Appeared as Prison Officer 'Hal Holland' in ITV's 'VERA' in 2019, along with participating in other productions. Has since branched into film acting and Documentaries!
