I have never started a GoFund Me page before. I am not sure how this all works. I have heard of the platform but never expected to start a fundraiser. However, sometimes things occur suddenly in life and there are no answers and a lot of fears and uncertainty. I am starting this page for my sister Tanya and her three beautiful boys who lost their daddy suddenly in a motorcycle collision on Sunday in the hopes of gaining some financial support to help with funeral expenses and mortgage and other life expenses that are more difficult to manage when you lose a spouse and become the sole provider.
My name is Wendy. My brother in law passed away suddenly on Sunday. He was involved in a motorcycle accident at Hurontario and Wanless in the city of Brampton. He leaves behind his wife of 25 years, his loving daughter Coral, and their three beautiful little boys, Noah (9), Liam (7) and Ezra (1). We are beyond heartbroken to hear of his sudden and unexpected passing and his wife, daughter and boys are devastated.
No one can prepare for the feeling of watching their daddy leave to go for a quick bike ride and never come back. I am starting this page in the hopes of raising funds for funeral expenses.
Darko recently gave his life to the Lord and we are confident that he is resting now in the arms of his loving saviour. That brings much comfort, but to those left behind, we are all left with broken hearts and a loss that is beyond comprehension. No one prepares for such a time as this. Darko and my sister just had a little baby, Ezra, who is 14 months old (picture above). We are saddened that he will not remember his daddy and will grow up without his daddy. Ezra was the apple of Darko’s eye, as were his other two boys, Noah and Liam and Tanya, his wife. Hug your loved ones tight. We never thought this could happen, but it does. Life is a gift and we should cherish our loved ones. This is a big lesson for all - we never know when a goodbye is the last time we will see someone again. Make every moment count.
