Darlene Chavez Liver Transplant

As some of you know my God daughter Darlene Chavez is in need of a liver transplant. On Sunday 1/22/23 she was admitted to children’s hospital in LA as her bilirubin levels keep increasing. Darleen is only 6 months of age and is a strong beautiful baby girl with the most amazing and supporting parents. Unfortunately all the procedures that are being done are very time consuming, and causing her parents to miss a lot work that they have used up all their PTO. Any donation and prayers will be greatly appreciated.

Como algunos de ustedes saben, mi ahijada, Darlene Chávez, necesita un trasplante de hígado. El domingo 23 de enero fue ingresada en el hospital infantil de Los Ángeles, ya que sus niveles de bilirrubina siguen aumentando. Darleen tiene solo 6 meses de edad y es una niña hermosa y fuerte. Desafortunadamente, todos los procedimientos que se están haciendo consumen mucho tiempo y hacen que sus padres pierdan mucho trabajo que han agotado todo su PTO. Cualquier donación y oración será muy apreciada.

A message from Darlene parents 

Hi everyone to those that know me on a personal level know that I would never ask for help or a favor but I would really appreciate it if you guys can have my baby girl in your prayers. Back in October she was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia which means she needs a liver transplant. Thankfully she only needs partial of a liver which a living person can potentially be a donor if they are her blood type which is O+ or wait for a deceased one. She is currently in the UNOS list. We were told she would need a liver before she turns one but this pass Saturday we were transferred to CHLA and found out she's bleeding internally which is a sign that her liver is shutting down faster than expected she will be needing a liver within the next 3 months or less. If you guys are able to donate anything for her I would really appreciate but if you can't donate have my daughter in your prayer I would really appreciate it.
