Darlene with Roger's Funeral and Living Expenses

Hi, my name is Paul and I've been friends with Roger and Darlene for over 40 years. Roger has been batteling epilepsy, lung cancer and for the last 2 to 3 years, pulmonary fibrosis. Unable to work for years due to the epilepsy, money has always been very tight. As Rogers illness progressed, Darlene had to reduce her work hours to part time. Per Rogers doctor, he could not be alone. Roger and Darlene tried to prepare for the inevitable and saved up enough for two cemetary plots next to each other. Proir to Rogers passing on May 8th, Darlene had managed to put away another few hundred dollars for the funeral expense. The cost of the funeral is $9,600.00. Darlene is a far cry from that amount. With Roger being gone, the little SS income that he was entilted to will either be stopped, or decreased causing even more hardship for Darlene to pay outstanding and future bills. To this end, I ask everyone to please find some compassion for this situation and please donate to this fund. Our goal is $10,000, but much more is realistically needed.
