Darlings Grocery Madeline Island

Our family is opening a year-round grocery store on Madeline Island (Mooningwanekaaning), WI. Our commitment to accessible and quality food runs deep. Locally grown food and sustainable practices drive us in our restaurant, school lunch program, and farm.

We have secured financing for the purchase of the building and we are looking for community help to get started. We are raising funds to build out a deli, buy Bulk bins for dry goods and spices/herbs, and other startup purchases.

Our grocery will sell organic & conventional food, locally grown produce, and bulk dry goods, as well as premade deli items. We look forward to working with our community, local farmers, and native groups, to provide offerings that are catered to our community's needs. We also plan to establish a grocery subscription program, accept EBT and WIC, and work with the local food shelf.

Your funds will help us customize the grocery store and bridge the financial gap between purchasing the building and getting the business started.
