Darrell Floyd’s Life Matters

Darrell Floyd is a 61 year old diabetic who needs a knee brace because his knee has no cartilage, arch supports because his arches fell twenty years ago, and an embolism stocking for a blocked artery, which needs surgery. He has blood clots in his right leg and his right lung.

But Darrell is incarcerated by the Connecticut Department of Correction, which continues to deny him medical care at Carl Robinson CI.

Darrell’s life matters.

Darrell will be released from Carl Robinson in the next 60 days because he is near the end of his sentence. But he has no money, no home to return to, and desperately needs medical care and treatment.

I am Darrell’s lawyer. I have submitted requests to DOC & to the Board of Pardons and Paroles for Darrell’s early compassionate release. We are hopeful he will be released any day.
