Fund Raising For DARRELL GOLDSMITH
Hi friends and Whanau,
For those of you who don't know Darrell Goldsmith, he has been diagnosed as terminal with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
This is the name given to a group of diseases in which the nerve cells - neurones - controlling the muscles that enable us to move, speak, breathe and swallow; undergo degeneration and die.
Unfortunately this has been going on undiagnosed for Darrell for a few years now and has only now been fully diagnosed, so sadly Darrel is now in the later stages of this disease.
Moving forward Darrell's care requires medical aids that are extremely expensive to hire but necessary to enable his care and quality of life.
I am reaching out on behalf of his Wife Arlene & their Whanau asking those, like myself who have ever had the pleasure of have Darrell in your life whether it be as far back from school days or as recently as just yesterday. If he has touched your heart in any way shape or form, please now touch his heart and show your support.
Every little bit we can give to help & support Darrell & his Whanau will ensure he gets all the necessary medical equipment & medications he now needs on a daily basis which in turn will help relieve the financial pressures just a little bit so Darrell, Arlene & their Whanau can concentrate on enjoying as much quality time together as possible.
