Darrell’s Cancer Journey

Those of you that know our dear friend’s Darrell and Arminae Ward, know they are big names/personalities in our community and always involved in our community and helping others. Darrell was our local BELOVED WEATHERMAN for many years and Arminae a staple in local healthcare. The tables have turned and they need our blessings and help now more than ever.
Those that do not know, Darrell was unexpectedly diagnosed with inoperable advanced stage Pancreatic cancer, October 12. Since retiring from the local news/meteorology he was teaching Government at a local high school. His health took a turn a few months ago and he went from working full time to having 7 bypass heart surgery in August. He had finally started healing from that to all of the sudden fighting the battle of his life. Arminae is currently the only one able to work and support their family. He has not been to work since his open heart surgery and planned to return sometime soon, but now will not be able to. They have some big decisions to make and one of them involves them traveling to Dallas for further diagnosis and potential treatment direction. This will put an even bigger strain on their finances.
If you know the Ward’s the last thing they will do is ask for help. Now is the time we as their friends need to step up and offer to alleviate some of their burden.
If you can not contribute monetarily, we just ask for your prayers during this time. As you can imagine this diagnosis has been LIFE CHANGING. Their faith is keeping them afloat and all PRAYERS are greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your consideration and help during this time! #wardstrong
