Darren Busby

Hi everyone. As most of you know our dad.. Darren Busby has been having voice problems for the past 3 years. In March he began having numerous tests, biopsies and scans. Today he has being diagnosed with cancer of the vocal chords. Dad has already lost weeks of work and now faces a grueling 6 weeks of strong radiotherapy. 5 days a week for 6 weeks. As a self emloyed singer it means no pay for loss of work. We would be entirely greatful if anyone could donate anything for this very deserving man. He has given so much time and money over the years to various charities but now faces this. We know you will join us in wishing him well. Many Thanks. Nicola and Rachel x

Hi Everyone it's Buzza ,I came back from the hospital last Thursday with the news that the pre cancer had progressed into throat cancer and that was all it took for Nicola and Rachel to launch straight into their plan they had been cooking up depending on the results.They said you had to cancel a month's work in March with biopsys etc ,,,5 nearly six weeks work recently when booked into hospital for more biopsys then cancelled at last minute so had to have more time off than planned but hey ho it wasn't their fault ,it happens.They persuaded me to let them go ahead with what they call a just giving page as I am now going to have radio therapy for 5days a week for 6 weeks so more time off coming up . although I have not been stopped from singing just yet we are desperately trying to fulfil as many of the bookings we can till therapy begins .now the lump in the throat (pardon the pun)I am absolutely stunned ,gobsmacked,overcome whatever word I can use to say thank you to EVERY single one of you who has phoned ,text ,donated and showed me the love and support of so many people.i had no idea ,to the artistes that want to put on shows all over the country for me for, for the ones that want to organise them etc , I will never be able to thank you enough ,from all the family we will be forever in your debt ,Thank you Always Darren xxx
